Booking Sessions

Prior to attending any training sessions run by the club, an online booking should be completed through the Acuity scheduling platform. 

This can be done through two ways:

- By downloading the Acuity Scheduling Client App through either the App Store or Google Play stores. 

- By registering through the web version of Acuity Scheduling through the web version below.

*Please also note, in order to establish an account via the online link, users will first need to book and pay for a single session ($3.30). If you've registered through the app, you can use the same login details in future when using the online link to make bookings (you don’t need a different registration login). If you're also signing up for a trial swim, you won't need to pay for a single session and can create an account afterwards.

Trial Swimmer Information:

It is important to note that, after your initial/complimentary Trial Swim, you may attend sessions with the Marlins (booked and paid for via Acuity) for one-month from the date of your first swim. After that time, if you decide to continue with the club, you must register as a financial member of the Malvern Marlins. If you're unable to make a session: 

If you've booked a session and know you won't be able to make it, there is a cancel option which will still charge the $3.30 for the registered swim. Alternatively, any user can instead reschedule their swim to another session time to any date in advance, providing this done before the session. 

Q&A/Troubleshooting

1. I’ve added malvernmarlins.as.me to the app – why has it disappeared (as shown below)?

To restore access, follow these steps:

1. Check if you're logged in: Tap the “person” symbol in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you see “Log In,” select it and enter your details.

2. Go to the Home screen: Tap the “Home” symbol in the bottom left corner.

3. If logging in doesn’t restore the Malvern Marlins page, click the “+” symbol, type “malvernmarlins.as.me,” and then select “Add Business.”

2. I forgot to book in for a session - what should I do? No worries - you can still swim! The coach on duty can add you to the session. If the coach is busy at the start of the session, they can add you after the session. If you or the coach couldn’t register your attendance, just email marlinsattendances@marlins.org.au with the session details, and we’ll register your attendance. If you have swim session passes available, the system will deduct one automatically. If not, we’ll let you know. Malvern Marlins should be listed here “Home” button “Person” button

3. I can’t see my booking in the App If you received a booking confirmation email or a reminder email/text, your booking is confirmed. You can cancel or amend your booking (if required) directly from the email. Occasionally, the App may log you out without notice, allowing you to make a booking without being logged in*. If this happens, your booking will still be confirmed, but you won't see it in the App. To prevent this, try using the browser version of the booking system by visiting “malvernmarlins.as.me” from your smartphone's browser, as it doesn’t encounter the same log-out issues. *Note: It can be tricky to tell if you're logged in (it may appear as if you are logged in, but you aren’t). To confirm, check if your name and email address appear prefilled at checkout. If not, you're likely not logged in. In that case, log out and log back in.

4. I can’t reset my password If you've attempted to reset your password through the Scheduling App but aren’t receiving a password reset email, please follow these steps:

1. Open a web browser on your smartphone or computer.

2. Type “malvernmarlins.as.me” in the search bar.

3. Click "Log In" (Note: If you're already logged in, log out first).

4. Select “Forgot your password”.

5. Enter the email address you used to register initially.

6. Follow the instructions in the email you should receive. When selecting a password, pick one that is easy to remember! If you still don’t receive a reset email, please contact us at marlinsattendances@marlins.org
